Dear Friends,

Last weekend was a little bit shorter than usual and close to home....We started out Saturday evening at Suburban Baptist Church in Granite City. Joni Walters and Suburban Baptist have been doing a great job promoting monthly concerts for over 4 years! This was our very 1st time to be with them, and we hope it won't be the last! A tremendous crowd came out, and they were ready to have a great time! We certainly appreciate Joni for inviting our family and all her hard work to spread Gospel Music in her community. She has a wonderful testimony how the Lord used Southern Gospel Music to turn her life around. PTL! So many friends attended the concert but it was especially great to see Mr & Mrs Ralph Green, Gary O'Neal and his family, Mr & Mrs Harold O'Neal, Ron & Sharon Kline & Tom & Sharon Cadle. It was also great to see Jean Sandbach who brought us a wonderful tray of goodies she made for us!! :-) Glen especially says Thank You, Jean!! haha It was also a blessing to have Danny Enloe sing a few songs during the offering. When we were done Gary O'Neal wanted to know where we were eating!!! His Mother said she has been asking that question every since he was old enough to talk! LOL We appreciate everyone that went to Steak and Shake after the service. It is always good to enjoy fellowship and a good laugh!

Sunday morning found us at Calvary Temple Christian Center in Springfield. We want to thank Tom Burkett for taking our music back to Pastor Johnson. This is a great example of how God will use people when they are willing to follow His leading! We sang for their first morning (Classic) worship service and it was an honor to share with all those in attendance. We sang for about 30 minutes and then enjoyed a wonderful sermon by Pastor Mark Johnson.  Again we had many friends attend the service, what a blessing! I have such wonderful memories of going to Calvary Temple in the 70's and enjoying the Speers and many more. Pastor Mark's father, M.C. Johnson, was the pastor then and had such a great love for Southern Gospel Music. Another exciting experience was seeing a high school classmate, Brenda Grady. The Lord has really changed her life and what a blessing to hear her story and see the joy on her face! Stay strong and the Lord will do great things in your life Brenda! It was fun to have several of Glen & Pat's family at the service. Thanks so much Chris, Megan, Kaley, Vickie, Kiley and Torey for going out to lunch at Golden Corral with us. We love you guys and appreciate you sharing Glen & Pat with us.

Well, it's time to get the bus cleaned to head out tomorrow. I hope you can come join us somewhere along the journey this weekend! Please keep us in your prayers and make plans to join us April 3rd for our concert with The Beene Family!

Blessings,
