We trust each and every one had a blessed Thanksgiving with your families. To say we as Christians are a blessed people would be an understatement. We truly "Praise God from whom all blessings flow!" May we strive to praise our Lord and give Him thanks every day of our lives.

 Before we go any further we want to wish Mike a Happy 50th Birthday today! He arrived at the Bank this morning with pictures of his childhood and teenage years plastered all over the lobby! ha

Last Friday night was our first time to be in the town of Boody, IL which sits just outside of Decatur a few miles. Many at the 1st Baptist Church had never heard us before and it's always exciting to share with new folks. We want to say a big thank you to Pastor Jim Leisner for being so kind to our family. It was a wonderful evening and we appreciate all those that took time out of their Friday evening to come be with us. On Saturday morning Scott's daughter Ashlea, took part in a literary contest in Pleasant Plains, IL. The Lord worked it out that we could all attend and she did a fantastic job! Her and 3 other girls from her class did a skit where they portrayed ditzy cheerleaders. Folks, I am telling you now, they couldn't have picked a skit that would have fit them better! HA. All of them did a superb job and obviously the judges thought so too, because the girls won 1st place in their division! Congratulations Ashlea!

Afterwards we loaded up the bus and headed south to Casey, IL and Casey White Oak Church of God. Pastor Kenny Inman has become like family to us and it's always so good to spend time with him. We sang Saturday night, Sunday morning and then closed out the weekend on Sunday night with a Christmas Concert. I'll have to admit, it is nice to set up once, and leave the equipment up for the rest of the weekend! We have sung at Casey White Oak on the weekend before Thanksgiving for several years in a row now and they always welcome our family with open arms. We'll see you all next year!

Speaking of Christmas concerts, we are thrilled to announce that the dinner for our Christmas Banquet is SOLD OUT! Praise the Lord! This is the first time this has ever happened. Concert only tickets are still available and will also be available at the door for $15. Today, Friday, is the deadline for ordering tickets in advance for $10. Thank you so much for your love and support you have shown to our family. It's through people like you that we have been able to continue spreading the gospel across the country! Our time here on earth is running short. Let's work together in reaching the world for Christ, one soul at a time.
