The Chosen Ones make their home in Manchester, a small farming
community in west central Illinois about 65 miles north of St.
Louis, MO. The group consists of two families in one. The Rueter
family; Mike, Melanie, Brady & Tressa; and the Lomelino Family;
Scott, Mariah (daughter of Mike & Melanie) and Ashlea.
The Chosen Ones were organized in 1974 proclaiming the gospel in
song throughout Illinois and the country. From concert halls to
Sunday school rallies, worship services, conventions, Bible
schools, picnics and fairs, the message stays the same. Hearts are
touched and Christians are encouraged as this family shares the
gospel of Jesus Christ through a progressive southern gospel style
of music.
Each year the ministry's horizons are broadened as the family
travels 160 plus dates per year. Over the past 31 years doors have
opened allowing The Chosen Ones to share their faith, encourage
the church, and reach the lost in 31 states and one foreign
country.
The Chosen Ones praise the Lord each year for ministry
accomplishments and the great promise in His word. They
continually anticipate His return and work toward the higher
calling in Christ Jesus.

family, and live a committed life in the center of God's will.
